Whale season

I went whale watching for extra credit in my Marine Bio class. I am surprised I learned a lot, considering the dreadful windy and rainy weather (although I did come well prepared with my portable chair and rain coat.)

8 AM did not go down too well for me, but the view eased my puffy eyes - still beautiful, despite the gloom.

My tallying chart

Also, I saw Big Miracle and if that is still playing in theaters near you, I highly recommend it. It was so touching and adorable...go green peace!

the jazz age

I went Club Puna Jazz last Saturday to support my talented friends playing instruments. Our school cafeteria transformed into a classy night club. I love that everyone was dressed up, and could strut their dance moves for the occasion.

This is my favorite dress in my closet right now, but I could never find an appropriate occasion for it. I thought it was perfect for the night, no?

I love the black!

I found this ticket in my bag from the AVANTI concert from two summers ago in Finland! My uncle played piano, but I can't believe it's still in my bag.

Blood Bank

I know this is vulgar and the polar opposite of fashion, but I had to share a very memorable moment in my life. My first donation of blood! I signed up thinking it'd be fun and a pretty cool experience, but I didn't realize that I had to answer question after question! Finally, when they settled me in a seat the nerves kicked in. I was shaking all over! Before I knew it the needle was in and I was pumping out a quart of blood!

They told me to squeeze this every 5 seconds

My blood in a baggy!

30 minutes later....

It's A Wrap!

The end of the carnival pictures...boy was it a ride!

The reason I've been so busy...me and my friend Pi'ikea made a video to promote our Beverage booth!

Me being a bad ass pre-carnival. Such a beautiful day...

Face painting. Taking a rocket ship to carnival and beyond!

The night scene.

Me and Paulina going on a lame kiddie ride that was actually really fun.

Honolulu's newest celeb?

Still trying to gather pictures from carnival...Any who, for those of you I didn't franticly text, I was on KITV news for a few minutes Friday night. My ten seconds of fame didn't last long, but I shared my thoughts on how "working at the beverage center is actually hard."

The lieutenant governor, Brian Schatz, modestly took part in some humble water balloon throwing.

Here with the rest of my booth chairs. This was a job well done! (I designed that poster!)

Punahou Carnival!

So the reason I haven't been posting as much recently is because I am so busy with the PUNAHOU CARNIVAL, a futuristic fantasy! I am a booth chair for Beverages Waikiki, and had to work five 3-hour shifts! I am completely wiped out, and my feet are crying in prayer.

It was my class's turn, class of 2013, to run carnival this year and I have to say we did a great job.

In prep for the punahou carnival, I painted my nails my school colors, buff and blue!

Yellow Kitson nail polish, blue OPI shatter,
and silver sparkles (OPI, sparkle de triomphe.)

More photos and videos to come!

Aida

Went to the Hawaii Opera Theater to see Aida last Sunday with my voice coach and her family. It was radically entertaining, since I knew a couple of the main characters (The high priestess and Aida's father) who both sang beautifully.

BCBG MaxAzaria multicolored dress, yellow cardi from Japan, black chanel purse, and sky high black heels from Nine West.

My beautiful friends singing and performing in our little Jazz band at Punahou. They did a wonderful job at their Holiday concert!

Honolulu Marathon

Volunteered at the Honolulu Marathon yet again this year. I helped the Japanese radio station KZOO in the media tent.
Finish line, so emotional!

Famous volleyball player, i forget her name!

Lots and lots of people here!

She is so cute! A little Mele Kalikimaka Wahine

lost? I am!

Music and such at the main stage.
Beautiful view of diamond head! So green and flourished.
