Film stars

J'ai vu un entourage d'un film ou séries TV près de la gare Sèvres-Lecoubre. I am a little sad they didn't ask me to be an extra.

Wearing OPI's mermaids tears underneath, and another OPI on top. Random aztec/drips.

Roger Martin Du Gard

Our last couple days in the countryside:

We also visited Roger Martin Du Gard, the infamous au reminisce author of Les Thibault. Pauline's friend is friends with the granddaughter of RMDG, and she gave us a special tour of his home. My grandmother had the time of her life, and I am sure this will be an experience I can when I become intellectual.

His back yard = forest

The granddaughter told us that he designed this himself, so that he would be able to see the city in the distance between his trees. However, about 12 years ago, a great storm hit, and many of the trees were destroyed which is why many of them are so tiny.

Panorama effect, not too shabby eh?

Front of the house

They would very much like to turn this house into a museum, but they don't have the means. Such a disappointment.

A la campagne, j'ai vu un lapin sauvage

Yes, yes, I like the level 2 French sentence as well.

On day 2 in France, my dear friends (friends of my aunt and uncle actually) Pauline and Bérnard took me to the countryside to Chartes. It was about a 2 hour drive to the most beautiful, serene location in France. The local product, fresh air, and wild animals conjured the utmost tranquility. I didn't take much pictures of myself since I was stuck in grubby clothes, and it would be very un à la mode of me. But boy when I get to Paris...

My room. It's like a museum!

Favorite wild flower. I became obsessed with these and who wouldn't? These pretties are EVERYWHERE!

Grandma and Pauline
(Yes, I'm adopted. JK, American joke pt.2)

I forgot to explain my title. One morning I saw a wild rabbit. Brown and pretty big, but not as cute as my domestic, gray Netherland Dwarf Sammy. That's all.

I'm Back!!

To my committed Aime Tout Ce Qui étincelle readers (mom and dad), I apologize for the lack of posts recently. I seemed to have been overwhelmed by schoolwork, and temporarily strayed from my blog duties. Nonetheless, I am here to make up for the lost months with a month of posts from (what better place?) Paris!

Well...in a few days I will be in Paris, for now, I will be à la campagne!

From my 7 am walk via instagram

Oh, and I suddenly think I am fluent in French so don't mind the occasional grammatically incorrect sentences I write in the future. That is in English of course, since I am fluent in French. (American joke!)
